Beschrijving van de functie

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer - Infrastructure & Cloud to strengthen our Infrastructure Managed Services team. You will play a key role in designing, operating, and securing hybrid IT environments for SMB and public-sector customers.
This role is ideal for a systems engineer who enjoys working across servers, Virtualization, networks, security, and Microsoft cloud, and who wants to grow into technical ownership of customer infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Infrastructure & server administration:
  • Install, configure, and maintain physical servers (HPE)
  • Administer Windows Server environments (2012→2025) and core AD services (DNS, DHCP, GPO)
  • Manage hybrid identity environments using Entra ID / Azure AD and AD Connect
• Virtualization & hyperconverged systems:
  • Operate VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Support and manage hyperconverged solutions (HPE SimpliVity or equivalent)
• Networking & Security:
  • Operate and monitor LAN/WI-FI environments (Cisco Meraki or similar)
  • Configure and maintain Firewalls (Cisco Meraki or equivalent)
  • Contribute to security, compliance, and infrastructure hardening
• Backup & continuity:
  • Administer VEEAM Backup & Replication and VEEAM 365
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing
• Cloud & modern workplace:
  • Manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Support Windows 11 Pro/Enterprise endpoints (Intune, GPO, RDS)
• Support, delivery & documentation:
  • Provide L2/L3 technical support (on-site and remote)
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
  • Produce clear technical documentation (IT Glue or equivalent)
  • Contribute to migration, modernization, and cloud-transformation projects
