Beschrijving van de functie

As a Legal Advisor, your responsibilities are:

• Analyze complaints submitted by clients of financial institutions
• Assess legal positions under consumer, civil, financial, and economic law
• Attempt to reconcile the parties and facilitate constructive dialogue
• Draft formal legal opinions based on law and fairness
• Issue recommendations where appropriate
• Contribute to maintaining high-quality, reasoned and balanced decisions

Jouw profiel

A successful Legal Advisor should have:

• Master's degree in Belgian Law
• Strong knowledge of consumer law, civil law, financial law, and the Belgian Code of Economic Law
• A few years of experience in the financial sector is an asset but not mandatory
• Dutch (primary drafting language) with basic knowledge of French
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Respect for deadlines and structured reasoning skills
• Empathy, autonomy, flexibility, creativity, and team spirit
