As a Compliance Officer your responsibilities are:

• Monitor and ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation.
• Develop, review, and update the compliance framework and related documentation.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on compliance-related matters.
• Collaborate with external regulatory bodies and auditors during inspections or reviews.
• Investigate and report any compliance breaches or irregularities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes impacting the banking and financial services department.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management.

Jouw profiel

A successful Compliance Officer should have:

• A strong academic background in law, finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in understanding and applying banking and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using compliance tools and software is considered an asset.
