Datashift is a very fast growing consultancy team with a focus on delivering solutions that answer business questions with data and facts. For one of our fastest growing practices, we are looking for a skilled Data Governance Consultant. As a Data Governance Consultant, you will play a crucial role in leveraging your expertise to guide our clients in optimizing and maximizing the benefits of data solutions.

Your responsibilities

As a Data governance consultant, you will:

• Lead the implementation of data catalog Solutions (Purview,...) for clients, ensuring seamless deployment and alignment with their business objectives.
  
• Work closely with clients to understand their data management needs and provide expert advice on utilizing a data catalog to enhance data governance, compliance, and overall information management.
  
• Customize and configure data catalog solutions to create business impact for our clients.
  
• Provide training sessions on the effective use of data catalog tools. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to address any issues that may arise during and after implementation.
  
• Stay informed about the latest updates, features, and best practices related to data catalog.
  
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  

Job requirements

Your qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in data consulting or service-oriented environments
  
• A first experience with unified data governance tooling is highly required
  
• Strong understanding of data governance concepts
  
• Outstanding problem solving skills
  
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English
