Beschrijving van het bedrijf

A family-owned, craft bakery in the middle of the Stockholm archipelago is looking for a baker for the summer season 2026.

The bakery is also a restaurant, deli-shop, boutique and café. The breads and buns are made in the old barn by the sea and fresh local products are used. 

The products are also delivered to several islands around the archipelago and there is a bread-boat, pizza nights, live music, and themed evenings most of the time.

Beschrijving van de functie

Your tasks

• Make the dough (sourdough is mostly used)
• Weigh the ingredients in the correct way
• Bake the different types of breads (7 in total) in the oven
• Roll buns

Jouw profiel

Your qualifications

• Degree of baker or equivalent by experience (min 1 year)
• Little to no experience needed: fresh graduates are welcome
• Knowledge of sourdough bread making techniques

Your language skills

• Basic level of English (A2): you can have basic conversations with your colleagues and understand simple tasks related to baking

Your main personal skills

• You are motivated and passionate
• You are hard-working and commited to providing high-quality baked products
• You enjoy working in a family environment

Voordelen van de betrekking

Your working conditions

• Seasonal contract from May/June to August 2024
• Full-time (7-8 hours a day ; 40 hours a week) - option for more
• 6 days of work per week (1 day rest, sometimes 2 days)
• Accomodation provided by the employer with a very low rent
