As part of the expansion of its production activities, Collinet is recruiting a Technical Draughtsman for its Herstal site .

As a Technical Draughtsman, you act as the link between clients, project managers and the production workshop. You transform sketches, technical data and client requirements into clear and precise CAD drawings. You will be involved in both drafting and technical discussions, in a varied and hands-on role. Your key responsibilities: Producing 2D and 3D drawings (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks or equivalent) Developing welding drawings, prefabrication drawings, assembly instructions and technical data sheets Adapting and optimising existing drawings Preparing parts lists and technical files for production and site preparation Verify the technical feasibility and accuracy of designs. Liaise with internal teams as well as Dutch-speaking clients and suppliers. Provide technical support for tenders, project preparation and execution. Team and management You will be joining a team of three people: Gaetan (Supply Chain Manager), Mohamed (Technical Draughtsman), Ahmed (Workshop Manager), the workshop staff, the external sales team and Kristel (Business Developer). The atmosphere is entrepreneurial and collaborative. Kristel is your line manager. She has played a key role in Collinet's development. Her approach: plenty of support at the start, followed by genuine autonomy for everyone. You'll also work closely on a daily basis with the teams at Deschacht, Collinet's sister company.

Jouw profiel

Your training & technical skills: Experience in technical drawing (2D and/or 3D) Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.) Fluent in French and excellent command of Dutch (essential for client communications) An interest in technical environments (plastics, pipework, infrastructure, etc.) Your personal skills: Autonomy and the ability to manage your projects independently Curiosity, with a desire to learn continuously Comfortable working in a field environment and interacting with a variety of people Versatility and a team-oriented approach Training will be provided to familiarise you with the specific features of the products.
