Are you an experienced AP Accountant looking for an international environment where your work has real impact and where you can continue to grow? This opportunity is for you.

Our client is a Belgian subsidiary of a publicly listed American group, active for over 50 years in the production and distribution of technical products worldwide. The Belgian site has been established for several decades and is responsible for managing financial flows for several entities across the continent.

The finance department consists of around fifteen people, within a structured team including both junior and senior profiles, and a positive working atmosphere where everyone gets along well. Team dynamics are a real priority-and it shows.

Your responsibilities You will join the AP team and take ownership of the full supplier cycle for several European entities within the group, working closely with colleagues based abroad. Full management of the supplier cycle: from invoice receipt to payment Verification of document compliance and internal approval checks Account reconciliation, identification and resolution of discrepancies Monitoring payment deadlines and optimizing payment terms Acting as the point of contact for suppliers regarding their files Contributing to process improvement projects within the shared service center The first year is deliberately focused on operational work-to build a solid foundation. The scope may then expand depending on your skills and interests.

Profile sought Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent, required Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting Technical skills: SAP knowledge is an asset. Advanced Excel required Languages: Fluent English is essential for daily communication with international teams. Good level of French, both spoken and written Personal qualities Rigorous and reliable, with strong attention to detail Assertive and comfortable building strong working relationships remotely Strong team spirit, open to feedback, and proactive in process improvement Flexible and hands-on, while maintaining accuracy even in fast-paced environments
