Due to the expansion of the finance team, our client searches a highly-driven accountant who will be in charge of the general accounting for multiple entities. You will be handling the full-cycle accounting from A to Z: closings, annual accounts, VAT, etc. ...

Our client is a well-established international company, with a steady expansion. You will be reporting directly to the chief accountant and have contact with various stakeholders.

In this position you will be responsible for the following tasks: General ledger accounting Performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings Review and control of the balance sheet Preparation and filing of the annual accounts (NBB) Submission of periodic VAT returns Preparation of corporate income tax Point of contact for audit matters Monthly financial reporting Process optimisation and automation

Jouw profiel

We are looking for someone that matches the following criteria: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum of 3-5 years experience in accounting Strong knowledge of BE GAAP Fluent in Dutch and French, good command in English Excellent knowledge of Excel Analytical mindset Excellent communication skills
