Are you passionate about logistics and operational excellence? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where safety and efficiency are top priorities? We’re looking for a Specialist site operations to take charge of smooth yard operations, efficient shunting, and continuous process improvement.
Ensure safe yard operations, efficient shunting (yard/dock), continuous process improvement, and accurate administration in collaboration with contractors.
The role operates in a dynamic logistics environment, requiring close coordination between internal teams (Warehouse, Planning, Transport, Supply) and external partners You are responsible for operational efficiency, safety compliance, and process optimization within the yard and dock areas.


In this role, you will work closely with internal teams such as Warehouse, Planning, Transport, and Supply to ensure smooth collaboration and continuous process improvement. Externally, you will maintain strong partnerships with logistics providers including K&N, GTS, and other key stakeholders, focusing on operational control and effective KPI management.
Your performance will be measured through key indicators such as on-time dock performance, compliance with shunt KPIs, optimization of yard occupancy, and the results of driver audits. These metrics reflect the importance of efficiency, accuracy, and proactive coordination in this position. Your taks will be:

1. Smooth Operations & Administration
o Manage bookings, including extra/ad hoc requests.
o Oversee container management and outbound flow administration.

2. Collaboration with Contractors
o Coordinate daily operations with K&N and GTS.
o Monitor and control KPIs for shunting activities.

3. Yard Operations Follow-Up
o Ensure compliance with safety and driver KPIs.
o Conduct regular yard checks.

4. Project Management
o Support yard and safety projects.
o Lead small-scale improvement initiatives.

5. Process Improvement
o Implement Kaizen action plans.
o Drive efficiency in daily tasks.

Jouw profiel

Profile:
• Education & Experience:
o Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of operational experience
• Technical Knowledge:
o Warehouse and site operations
o Logistics and administrative processes
• You have previous experience with TBP, TPS, 5Cs, FMDS (training provided)
• You are fluent in English
• Experience in Project management is a plus
