For an international logistics provider, focussing on airfreight, we are looking for a new HR Business Partner!


Jobomschrijving

The HR Business Partner is responsible for aligning the company's strategic objectives with the needs of employees and management within designated business units.
Acting as a trusted advisor and hands-on partner, the HRBP ensures effective and consistent collaboration across all human resources services, including employee relations, personnel management, training and development, performance and career management, compensation, and benefits.

Your tasks include:

  • Organize and lead weekly meetings with assigned business units.
  • Advise and coach line managers on all HR matters (employee relations, disciplinary actions, organizational questions, career development).
  • Provide hands-on guidance in performance management: coaching, counselling, career development, corrective action planning. 
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Actively participate in meetings with unions, employee representatives, and committees (works council, prevention).
  • Anticipate, address, and de-escalate tensions to maintain a constructive social climate. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and labor regulations.
  • Ensure compliance and minimize legal risks, in collaboration with the legal department. 
  • Identify training and development needs at both team and individual level.
  • Propose tailored training programs and coaching plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training and coaching initiatives. 
  • Actively present and available on the ground, close to managers and employees.
  • Understand day-to-day operational realities (production, logistics, supply chain, etc.) to provide pragmatic HR solutions.
  • Detect issues or opportunities for improvement and act quickly to support performance and team cohesion. 

Jouw profiel

You have a bachelor's/master's degree with an HR focus and minimum 4-5 years in a similar HRBP role, with significant exposure to operational and social/labor relations. 
 You also recognize yourself in following aspects:

  • Pracitcal knowledge of various HR topics such as: Compensation practises, organizational diagnostics, employee and union relations...
  • Proven track record in managing strong social relations (unions, employee representatives, works councils, prevention committees, etc.
  • Bilingual : Fluent in French with a  very good level of English. Dutch is considered a big plus
  • Mastery of belgian social legislation
  • Industry background: ideally in logistics, supply chain, production, or any other sector with comparable operational demands (fast-paced, flexible, high-pressure, field presence required). 
  • Strong conflict management and mediation skills

Your wage is based on experience (4000-6500 gross), with added benefits such as:

  • Eligible for a bonus with a maximum of 10% of the annual salary after one year of seniority

  • Pro-rata end-of-year bonus according to PC226
