Employment type: Full-time We are looking for a hands-on Finance & HR Operations Officer to join a growing organization and play a key role in establishing finance, administration, and HR processes. This is a dynamic role with high visibility, collaboration across teams, and opportunities to grow alongside the company.
Your Role :
As an Finance & HR Operations Officer, you will combine accounting expertise with administrative and HR support. You will ensure accurate financial records, assist with HR processes, and help implement procedures from scratch in a growing organization. You will work closely with finance, operations, management, and external partners to ensure compliance with Belgian financial and HR regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Finance :
Assist with daily accounting and data entry in an ERP system Support inventory accounting and reconciliations Prepare and organize financial documents such as invoices Assist with month-end and year-end closings Support reporting and compliance obligations Collaborate with operations on finance- and cost-related matters
Administration & HR Support :
Assist with HR administration in compliance with Belgian labor law Maintain personnel files, contracts, and documentation Support onboarding and offboarding processes Serve as local point of contact for HR-related questions
Coordinate with external payroll providers and advisors Ensure accurate follow-up of salaries, benefits, and employment documentation Support internal audits and compliance processes
Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus
Standard 38-hour workweek with flexible hours Remote work options may be available Collective leave and additional leave days Competitive salary package with bonus and additional benefits

Jouw profiel
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and administrative/HR support Strong knowledge of Belgian accounting, VAT, and HR regulations Experience with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretionProactive, reliable, and able to work independently Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus
