The Domain Architect, Infrastructure & Cloud is a pivotal role responsible for defining, designing, and overseeing the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure and cloud solutions within a specific business domain or across the enterprise. This individual acts as a strategic technical leader, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that infrastructure and cloud architectures align with organizational goals, industry best practices, and future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Architectural Leadership: Define and champion the strategic vision and architectural roadmap for infrastructure and cloud services, ensuring alignment with overall enterprise architecture and business strategy. Lead the definition of architectural principles and standards specific to the domain

·        Solution Design: Translate complex business needs and technical requirements into detailed, high-level and low-level infrastructure and cloud designs, including network, compute, storage, security, and platform services.

·        Cloud strategy, guidance & adoption: Work closely with the CCoE to contribute to and leverage enterprise-wide cloud policies, best practices, and shared services. Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and guidelines for infrastructure and cloud deployments, ensuring consistency, compliance, and maintainability. Ensure domain-specific architectures adhere to the CCoE's guardrails and contribute insights back to evolve central guidelines.

·        Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, application development teams, security teams, and operations to ensure architectural designs meet functional and non-functional requirements.

·        Risk Management: Identify and mitigate architectural risks, ensuring solutions are resilient, secure, and performant.

·        Technology Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and tools that can enhance the infrastructure and cloud landscape.

Jouw profiel

We do not only deliver letters and parcels, but also opportunities. This job is open to all with diverse backgrounds and talents, possessing the following skills & experience:   

Experience:

·        10+ years in software architecture/design

·        Deep expertise in one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless offerings.

·        Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure solutions.

·        Strong understanding of networking, security principles, virtualization, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).

·        Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.

Soft Skills:

·        Strategic thinker with a strong ability to align technical initiatives with operational business goals.

·        Effective communicator able to translate complex technical concepts into actionable guidance for both developers and stakeholders.

·        Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex technical challenges

·        Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
