Your mission

Our client, an international company in rapid growth active in the financial services sector, is looking for a Business Controller to strengthen its Finance department based in Brussels.

In this high-visibility role, you will be responsible for the financial monitoring of the group's management companies and will actively contribute to driving financial performance. You will work closely with the finance leadership team and contribute to the development and structuring of the controlling function.

Beyond operational responsibilities, we are looking for someone capable of bringing real added value to the organisation through their analytical mindset, their ability to challenge the status quo, and their proactive approach.

Responsibilities Contribute to the preparation and analysis of financial reporting. Monitor budgets, forecasts and performance analyses. Conduct in-depth financial analyses and formulate recommendations to management. Participate in periodic closings and financial data controls. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting tools. Oversee the consolidation of the group's financial statements, ensuring consistency of data across entities and compliance with applicable accounting standards. Collaborate with various stakeholders at an international level. Support the development of the controlling function within the organisation.

Jouw profiel

Above all, we are looking for A professional capable of going beyond the role of financial analyst to become a true business partner. You enjoy understanding challenges, proposing improvements, taking initiative, and actively contributing to an organisation's growth. Candidate profile Master's degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent. Experience of 4 to 7 years. Initial audit experience at a Big Four strongly preferred. Additional experience in Business Controlling or Financial Controlling. Experience in the financial, banking or insurance sectors is a significant asset. Excellent command of English and French. Excellent communication skills and ability to present analyses clearly and convincingly to management.
