Our client is building something ambitious.

A fast-growing European healthtech company is redesigning the future of clinical software used daily by tens of thousands of healthcare professionals. Backed by major investors and accelerating internationally, we are consolidating multiple platforms into one modern, AI-native ecosystem.

This is not another "maintenance" engineering role.

We're looking for product-minded engineers who want to build scalable systems, influence technical direction, and create software that genuinely impacts millions of patients and healthcare professionals.

Jouw profiel

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a central role in one of our product engineering squads and help shape the technical future of our platform.

You will:

• Design and build high-impact features end-to-end
• Develop scalable applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend technologies
• Influence architectural decisions and engineering standards
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and developer experience
• Help modernize systems and reduce technical debt
• Work closely with Product, Engineering Managers, and Tech Leads
• Mentor other engineers and help elevate the team technically
• Contribute to CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and deployment automation
• Participate in building an AI-first engineering culture

Tech environment

You'll work with modern technologies and engineering practices, including:

• TypeScript / JavaScript
• Node.js
• Angular (or similar modern frontend frameworks)
• Cloud-native architectures
• AWS OR Azure
• CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Pulumi) - Good to have
• Automated testing & quality engineering
• Agile product development

What we're looking for

You are someone who:

• Has strong experience building modern web applications at scale
• Enjoys ownership and solving complex technical problems
• Cares about clean architecture and maintainable systems
• Brings strong backend and frontend engineering skills
• Understands scalability, performance, and reliability challenges
• Likes mentoring and collaborating with other engineers
• Thrives in fast-moving product environments
• Speaks English fluently (Dutch and/or French are a plus)
