As part of its continued investment in modern infrastructure and platform technologies, we are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to help design, evolve, and operate a secure, scalable, and high-performing AWS platform.

This is an opportunity to work on a modern AWS environment, drive automation, and contribute to the evolution of critical platforms supporting key business services.

As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in the reliability, governance, and continuous improvement of the AWS platform.

Your responsibilities include:

• Design, manage, and continuously improve the AWS platform, ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and performance.
• Deploy and administer multi-account AWS environments following architecture best practices.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, Python, and Terraform.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines while integrating security throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure platform security, governance, and compliance through IAM, encryption, vulnerability management, and internal security standards.
• Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to integrate non-functional requirements such as security, automation, and scalability.
• Support development teams by promoting DevOps best practices and maintaining clear technical documentation.
• Contribute to the strategic evolution of the platform through continuous improvement initiatives and innovation.

Jouw profiel

We're looking for someone who combines strong AWS expertise with a passion for automation and platform engineering.

You have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly:
• AWS Lambda
• Step Functions
• Redshift
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification (Professional certification is a plus).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and Python.
• Knowledge of Terraform is considered an asset.
• Proven experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git-based platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools, including CloudWatch and centralized logging solutions.
• Good understanding of platform security principles, including IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing or integrating REST APIs using tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI and Postman.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
