Finance Operations Specialist M/V/X

For a growing organisation in the services sector we are looking for a Finance Operations Specialist.

You will work closely with local accounting teams and other internal stakeholders across Europe.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor expenses and commitments for real estate projects across Europe

• Support the preparation and review of local GAAP accounting memos

• Manage the daily administration of invoices and purchase orders

• Review and analyze invoice postings, including VAT and entity details

• Analyze new real estate projects such as construction, renovation, and maintenance

• Support communication with external parties such as contractors, suppliers, and government authorities

• Assist with the financial reporting of investment projects (actuals, budget, and forecast)

• Follow up on payment schedules together with local accounting teams

• Support month-end and quarter-end closings within real estate accounting

• Assist with depreciation, capitalization, and reconciliations

• Support internal and external audits

• Contribute to ESG reporting

• Assist in implementing procedures and control systems in line with internal standards

• Support the rollout of control processes across different markets

• Support process improvements and special accounting projects

Jouw profiel

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting

• Experience in a real estate environment is a plus

• Fluent in English

• Experience in an international or shared services environment is a plus

• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP is an asset

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus
