• Manage strategic sourcing and supplier relationships across multiple markets: BeNeLux.
• Indirect & Direct Procurement (Transportation & Logistics, MRO, Engineering Services etc.).

• Our client is a leading international player in the energy distribution sector.

Primarily focused on indirect procurement, with strong exposure to operational and industrial activities. Responsible for Transportation & Logistics categories, representing the largest spend area within the portfolio. Oversees procurement of Maintenance, Engineering Services, and MRO to support operational continuity. Manages suppliers across technical, industrial, and logistics sectors. Collaborates with Category Managers on strategic and global sourcing categories. Manages an annual spend of approximately €50M. Manage and develop strategic supplier relationships, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and long-term value creation. Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier selection. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service excellence and operational continuity. Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, finance, legal, compliance, and other key stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs. Monitor procurement KPIs, provide performance reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement and best-practice initiatives.

Jouw profiel

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. 4+ years if experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management within an international, industrial, logistics, or energy-related environment. Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and operate effectively within a matrix organization. Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or Dutch is considered a strong asset.
