As an Engineering Project Manager, you play a key role in the automation and process improvement projects at the distribution center. The major project the first years will be the go-live of the new European Distribution Center (UNO project). Engineering project management Plan, organize and monitor the engineering projects of the existing distribution center. Be a part of the UNO project team and managing some sub-projects such as the transition from the existing building into the new site in Bierset. Define the objectives, budget, schedule and deliverables of each project. Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and changes in scope. Ensuring delivery is on time, within budget and to the expected quality. Support the engineering team with project management tools and follow-up Technical and operational coordination To link the maintenance, operations, IT teams and external suppliers. Facilitate project meetings, progress reviews and problem-solving sessions. Ensure alignment between technical constraints and operational needs. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and equipment and assist to roll-out a continuous process improvement program. Supplier and partner management Assist in selection and negotiations and coordinate external stakeholders. Monitor the quality of services and adherence to commitments. Manage contracts and relationships with key suppliers. Reporting and governance Write clear and structured progress reports. Present the projects to the technical management and stakeholders. Anticipate needs and propose strategic adjustments. Be the assistant of the Director of Engineering by preparing PowerPoint communications, admin and general project follow-up. Team and management You will be joining the Engineering department, a young and dynamic team of 4 Process Engineers passionate about new technologies, curious about innovations, and highly committed. You will collaborate with each of them on projects, in a cross-functional rather than hierarchical way. You will also support them in with project management and administration: helping with building project schedules, actions list, PowerPoint presentations, tool development, . Your manager is Erik Goeleven (Director of Engineering). Erik is a hands-on, approachable, and direct manager. He values autonomy, initiative, and a solution-oriented approach

Jouw profiel

Training & technical skills Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering Minimum 10 years of experience, including solid project management experience in logistics or industrial environments Excellent understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and automation equipment; good understanding of IT systems Excellent command of Excel and other Windows tools Affinity with operational reality and the field Strong in using project administration tools. Project management certification (such as PMP) is an asset Experience with continuous improvement processes. Fluent English is essential; French is an asset (with a willingness to learn it). Interested in new tools and software and the possibilities of AI Soft skills & personality Cross-functional leadership and the ability to unite people without hierarchical links Excellent communication with a variety of stakeholders (engineers, operations, management, suppliers) Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Analytical mind and ability to make sound decisions Proactivity and solutions-oriented Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly developing environment
