Its IT environment supports a broad network of sites and business operations, making availability, security and connectivity essential to its day-to-day activities.

As part of a growing IT Infrastructure team, you will join an environment where networking is not simply about keeping systems running: you will have the opportunity to take ownership, work on infrastructure projects and influence how the network evolves.

As a Network Engineer, you will take an active role in the operational management and continuous improvement of the organisation's network environment.

• Manage and monitor LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and firewall infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents, identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Work closely with external technology partners, coordinating their activities and challenging proposed solutions when needed.
• Contribute to network projects, migrations, upgrades and standardisation, while ensuring smooth change management.
• Proactively monitor performance, availability and security, using KPIs and monitoring tools to prevent service degradation and downtime.
• Contribute to automation, security and infrastructure improvements, with opportunities to expand into areas such as cloud, systems or cybersecurity.

Jouw profiel

We are looking for a technically strong Network Engineer who enjoys ownership, problem-solving and working across a broader infrastructure environment.

• 2+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering or IT Infrastructure.
• Solid knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, Wi-Fi, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP and network segmentation.
• Experience with network monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting and change management.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, firewalls, SD-WAN or Network Access Control is a strong plus.
• Interest in automation and scripting using technologies such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible or APIs.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, professionally proficient in the other national language, with a good command of English.
