Technical Assembler - Electronics

Join a new high-tech production site in Zaventem where advanced electronic and electro-optical equipment is assembled and tested. If you enjoy precision assembly, micro-soldering, PCB work, testing and troubleshooting, this is a role where you can stay close to the technology and the product.

The production operation is growing quickly. We are therefore looking for someone who can do more than one narrowly defined task. Versatility is key: you will learn different processes, work across several production activities and contribute to the development of a new production environment.

Assemble electronic instruments and subassemblies according to drawings, specifications and work instructions. Perform micro-soldering and rework under magnification. Diagnose and repair PCB and component issues. Handle small and delicate electronic components with precision. Apply thermal grease, silicone and adhesives according to defined processes. Program and configure electronic modules. Perform electronic tests and in-process quality checks. Identify defects or non-conformities and contribute to troubleshooting. Record your work accurately to ensure full traceability. Follow ESD, quality, safety and 5S procedures. Learn different assembly and testing processes as production develops.

Jouw profiel

A technical background in electronics, electromechanics or a related field. Ideally 3+ years of relevant industrial experience. Practical experience with electronics assembly, soldering, PCB work, testing, repair or precision manufacturing. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. A methodical, reliable and quality-conscious way of working. A hands-on attitude: you enjoy working with the product rather than spending your day behind a desk. The curiosity and flexibility to learn different tasks and processes. English: Good working proficiency (minimum B1) - essential for daily communication and instructions. Dutch or French: Fluency in at least one of the two languages. A bachelor's degree in Electronics is welcome, but not essential if you can demonstrate strong relevant hands-on electronics experience.
