System Engineer (Endpoint Infrastructure)

?? Location: Brussels, Belgium

?? On-site: Up to 5 days/week on-site required

?? Languages: Fluent Dutch or French (C2) + English (C1)

?? Rate: 65-70/h

Overview

We are looking for a senior System Engineer with extensive experience in large-scale enterprise environments to manage, maintain, and evolve a complex endpoint infrastructure supporting more than 100,000 endpoints and 1,000+ applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, performance, and continuous improvement of the endpoint ecosystem across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and support desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and industrial devices.

* Design, implement, and maintain endpoint and backend infrastructure solutions.

* Perform upgrades, migrations, deployments, and infrastructure enhancements.

* Conduct technical feasibility studies and recommend optimal solutions.

* Ensure infrastructure stability, security, and compliance.

* Provide 3rd line support and participate in on-call activities when required.

* Act as a technical advisor for business and IT stakeholders.

* Maintain accurate technical documentation and share knowledge across teams.

Required Experience

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.

* Minimum 10 years of experience in System Engineering or Endpoint Infrastructure.

* Experience in enterprise environments with:

* 100,000+ endpoints

* 1,000+ software packages

* Experience working within ITIL-driven organizations.

* MCSA, MCSE, MCSD or equivalent Microsoft certification.
