Are you an experienced finance professional ready to take the next step in your career? This Head of Finance position offers the opportunity to combine financial leadership, operational involvement and business partnering within an international organization based in Brussels. Working closely with senior management and international stakeholders, you will oversee the full finance cycle while contributing to business performance, process improvements and the further development of the finance function.

Your responsibilities as a Head of Finance : Provide financial advice and business partnering support to senior management and operational teams. Oversee the full finance cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and group reporting. Monitor financial performance, profitability, project performance and overall business results. Contribute to pricing strategies, tenders and commercial opportunities from a financial perspective. Lead, develop and support a finance team of 4 direct reports, including Project Controllers and the Head of Accounting. Advise project and delivery teams on financial performance, profitability and efficiency. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, management accounts and statutory reporting. Oversee financial planning, cash flow, treasury and payment governance. Ensure compliance with local financial, tax and statutory requirements and Group accounting policies. Coordinate the annual accounts closing process and act as a key contact for external auditors. Identify opportunities to improve project controlling, financial processes and reporting practices. Contribute to the further development of finance systems, process standardization, automation and digital solutions. Work closely with local and international stakeholders to ensure strong financial governance and support the organization's continued development.

Jouw profiel

Your profile : You have previous experience in a Head of Finance, Finance Manager or comparable finance leadership role. You have strong experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. You have experience in finance business partnering and advising senior stakeholders. You have experience with project controlling or project financial management; experience in a professional services environment is a strong advantage. You have experience managing and developing a finance team. You have a good understanding of local accounting, financial and compliance requirements. You are comfortable combining hands-on operational finance responsibilities with team leadership and business partnering. You are a credible and confident finance professional who can challenge and influence stakeholders. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and can build relationships with both local and international stakeholders. You have a formal financial qualification. You are fluent in English and in the local operating company language, both verbally and in writing. You are willing to travel occasionally within Europe, including occasional overnight stays.
