To strengthen its operational team, our client Skechers is currently looking for an Operations Manager for its site in Herstal.

As an Operations Manager at Skechers, you report directly to the Director of Operations and independently manage several departments. Your key responsibilities include: Planning, organizing, and supervising daily operations to meet short- and long-term goals, while ensuring budget, deadlines, and safety standards are met in an automated environment. Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture. Developing strategic business plans for the short, medium, and long term for your departments. Taking necessary actions to achieve performance objectives by defining and monitoring team KPIs, while effectively managing operational costs. Leading, coaching, evaluating, and developing your teams (approx. 150 people) in collaboration with Team Leaders and Leads. Communication is central to your role-both with your teams and social partners. Managing and optimizing automated processes with a continuous improvement mindset. This role requires adaptability, versatility, and a proactive approach to overcoming daily challenges and driving operational excellence.

Jouw profiel

Education and technical skills: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar role within an automated/production environment. Proficiency in WMS, WCS, and AS400 systems. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong working knowledge of English. Your personality and soft skills: Leadership - You are a driver of change and adapt easily to a constantly evolving environment. Communication - You adjust your communication to suit your audience and actively listen. Customer & results orientation - You go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
