A Korean fast casual concept with locations at Flagey and Fox Food Market in Brussels is opening a new location in the European Quarter this July. They serve bold, honest Korean food: bibimbap, japchae, Korean fried chicken. Fast, consistent, made with care.

They're a small, ambitious team building a scalable concept. They take operations seriously - food cost, consistency, hospitality. This is not a 'manage the vibe' role. It's a real operations job.

As Manager you are fully responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant. You report directly to the owner and are the senior contact on-site. You manage a team of student and part-time staff, ensure food quality and consistency, maintain food cost discipline, and build a strong local customer base in the European Quarter.

This is a full-time position, suited for someone who likes ownership, structure, and working in a fast-paced kitchen-forward environment.

Your responsibilities

• Day-to-day operations: opening, closing, service flow, team coordination
• Team management: scheduling, training, performance follow-up
• Customer satisfaction: ensuring a consistent guest experience and handling complaints
• Food cost control: waste tracking, portioning discipline, stock management
• Quality consistency: MEP standards, prep procedures, presentation
• Ordering and supplier coordination
• HACCP compliance and food safety standards
• Budget follow-up and financial reporting to the owner
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and grow the local customer base

Jouw profiel

Who you are

• 3+ years experience in fast casual or quick service restaurant operations
• You've managed or supervised a small team before
• Strong leadership and people management skills - you know how to motivate a team
• Sharp sense of customer service; calm and effective when handling complaints
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus
• Direct, reliable and solution-oriented
• Bonus: you know or love Korean food
