Our client is a well-known company in the aeronautics world located in the east of Brussels.

To complete their team, they are looking for an accountant for A to Z management. You will be responsible for general accounting within the department.

You will work closely with the director

accounting and will contribute to the reliability and transparency of financial statements.

Jouw profiel

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Accountant with full cycle management in business, ideally in an international environment.
• Knowledge of SAP
• Tax and accounting expertise: Solid knowledge of Belgian accounting standards (BEGAAP), as well as Belgian tax rules (VAT, ISOC).
• Bilingual: you speak French and English fluently, Dutch is a plus.
• Rigor and organization: Ability to work independently, respect deadlines and attention to detail.
• Analytical mind: excellent critical thinking
• Teamwork: Ease of collaborating with other departments

• Management of a significant part of the accounting: keeping the accounting books from A to Z, including daily entries (incoming FI and outgoing Intercos invoices, Coda's banks, provisions, etc.), monthly and annual closings.
• Financial reporting: production of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, annexes) in compliance with Belgian (BEGAAP) and international accounting standards.
• VAT and Taxation: management of VAT declarations for several group entities, assistance in preparing declarations to ISOC, monitoring of current tax issues.
• Financial analysis: monitoring and justification of accounts.
• Internal control: implementation and monitoring of accounting and internal control procedures, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
• Fixed asset management: asset tracking, depreciation and revaluations.
• Audit support: answering auditors' questions.
