Are you the Identity & Access Management consultant who can design secure authentication solutions and strengthen enterprise security architectures?

We are looking for an experienced IAM Engineer / Senior System Design Engineer to join a security-driven environment where identity, authentication and resilient system design are at the core of digital operations.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to work on modern identity solutions, security protocols and enterprise-grade system engineering in a complex, high-impact environment.

As IAM Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, maintaining and optimizing secure authentication and authorization solutions. You will translate requirements into robust designs, resolve complex security challenges and contribute to innovation in identity and access management.

You combine technical depth with analytical thinking and collaborate closely with security, infrastructure and application teams.

• Design, implement and maintain secure authentication and authorization solutions
• Work with protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect OpenID Connect (OIDC) and SAML
• Manage digital certificates, including issuance, renewal and revocation processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM-related incidents
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable security designs
• Evaluate architecture trade-offs and ensure compliance requirements are met
• Support deployment and implementation of security-focused designs
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to system optimization and performance improvements
• Drive innovation and propose enhancements to systems, processes and services
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing
• Participate in on-call support when required

Jouw profiel

? 5+ years of experience in system engineering, security engineering or identity and access management

? Strong expertise in OAuth, OIDC and SAML

? Solid understanding of encryption, web security and authentication/authorization concepts

? Experience with identity platforms such as Microsoft Azure AD, Ping Identity Ping AM and Ping Identity Ping DS is a strong plus

? Experience with JavaScript, JSON and repositories such as GitHub GitHub or Atlassian Bitbucket

? Strong background in system design, troubleshooting and performance optimization

? Analytical, security-driven mindset with a proactive approach

? Strong collaboration and communication skills

? Adaptive, flexible and result-oriented
