Are you the person who can translate complex business requirements into scalable, enterprise-grade solutions?

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the analysis, design, and technical implementation of strategic IT projects. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for defining end-to-end solution architectures that align with business requirements, enterprise standards, and the organization's target architecture vision.

You will act as the technical authority throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with both functional and non-functional requirements.

Define, document, and maintain solution architectures through the Solution Architecture Document (SAD).

Present and obtain architecture validation from the Architecture Review Board (ARB).

Identify and select appropriate technologies in collaboration with Enterprise and Application Architects.

Recommend development methodologies, frameworks, and coding standards in line with architectural guidelines and business needs.

Design the overall application structure and ensure architectural consistency throughout implementation.

Ensure the delivered solution complies with approved architecture principles and standards.

Identify and communicate software engineering activities and dependencies to the Project Manager.

Provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance to developers, designers, and implementation teams.

Support project estimation activities by providing technical assessments of costs, risks, and benefits.

Collaborate with testing and infrastructure teams to identify environment requirements and support needs.

Ensure key technical decisions are properly documented and communicated.

Promote the reuse of existing assets, frameworks, and architectural patterns whenever possible.

Act as the primary point of contact for architectural, technical, and operational matters throughout the project lifecycle.

Jouw profiel

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture.
• Expert knowledge of Sparx Enterprise Architect and ArchiMate modeling.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, application design, and system integration.
• Experience defining architecture documentation and governance processes.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, architecture frameworks, and best practices.

• Minimum 5 years of experience within ICT environments.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Financial Services sector is highly desirable.
• Proven experience working on complex enterprise-scale projects.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to balance business, technical, operational, and architectural requirements to identify the optimal solution.
