As Head of Finance & Transformation, you act as a strategic sparring partner for management and business stakeholders. You translate financial data into actionable insights, support decision-making, and play a key role in the ongoing professionalization and digital transformation of the finance function. In this newly created position, you combine business controlling, leadership, and finance transformation. You contribute to building a modern, data-driven finance organization that supports the business through insights, performance management, and efficient processes. Business Controlling & Performance Management Analyze margins, pricing strategies, cost structures, product mix, and profitability by customer, branch, and region. Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational performance. Provide data-driven recommendations to management and business teams. Monitor business performance through KPI tracking and financial analysis. Strategic Decision-Making & Business Partnering Develop business cases, profitability models, and scenario analyses. Support strategic decisions related to investments, pricing, growth initiatives, and expansion projects. Act as a trusted financial advisor to the Managing Director, leadership team, and operational stakeholders. Support regional and branch managers in commercial and operational decision-making. Reporting, Planning & Governance Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and working capital management. Develop and enhance management reports and performance dashboards. Ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and risk management practices. Manage relationships with auditors and external stakeholders. Translate company strategy into measurable objectives and monitor progress. Finance Transformation & Digitalization Act as the driving force behind the modernization of the finance function. Critically assess existing processes and identify improvement and automation opportunities. Lead projects related to ERP, Business Intelligence, automation, RPA, and AI. Improve efficiency, data quality, and reporting speed across the organization. Promote a data-driven decision-making culture by making financial and operational information more accessible and actionable. Drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives within finance. Leadership & People Management Lead and coach three direct reports responsible for Accounting & Reporting, Accounts Payable, and Credit Management. Build a high-performing, customer-oriented, and future-ready finance organization. Collaborate closely with the French finance team on reporting, consolidation, and budgeting activities. Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Jouw profiel

Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, Finance, or a related field. At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance, controlling, business partnering, or finance management. Strong affinity for digitalization, data analytics, and process optimization. Proven experience improving, automating, and structuring financial processes. Ability to translate opportunities related to ERP, BI, RPA, and AI into tangible business improvements. Strong analytical skills combined with a solid business mindset. Advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of SAP, Qlik Sense, Power BI, and automation tools is a strong plus. Fluent in Dutch, French, and English. Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and solution-driven. Combines a positive team spirit with a pragmatic hands-on approach. Curious, forward-thinking, and passionate about emerging finance and technology trends. Able to maintain a clear overview and perform effectively in a dynamic environment.
