As a GL Accountant you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance and smooth financial operations within an international industrial environment.

Your responsibilities

• Manage general accounting from A to Z (journal entries, bank transactions, accruals, intercompany accounts)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with BEGAAP
• Manage VAT returns and support corporate income tax declarations
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation
• Support internal and external audits
• Contribute to process improvements and internal controls

Jouw profiel

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in general accounting and taxation
• Strong knowledge of BEGAAP, VAT and corporate income tax
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system and strong Excel skills
• Fluent in French with a professional level of English; Dutch is a plus
• Accurate, analytical, autonomous and reliable
