Job description
We are looking for a R&D Analytical method development - Senior technician for a company in the Brussels region within the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Technician in Process Development is responsible for executing activities related to development or optimisation of new or current process but also to development of laboratory scale model.
• The Senior Technician is also supporting the execution routine testing and performing regular maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure operational readiness and in accordance to R&D quality system.
• With a good hands-on background in laboratory techniques and equipment, the Senior Technician ensures the execution of experiment linked to process development but also in the generation of reliable data in compliance with internal quality standards.
• This role also includes supporting laboratory scale model troubleshooting, maintaining laboratory equipment, and contributing to the overall efficiency and respecting quality of the R&D laboratory environment.
• Chromatography operations (AKTA system)
• Ultrafiltration/Diafiltration (UF/DF)

Jouw profiel

Profile

• Bachelor's degree Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• 4 years of experience in a similar or comparable position or process development in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment is a big plus, but we are also open for students with experience during internships
• Proficiency in process technology such as UF/DF, chromatographic system (e.g. AKTA or NGC) and filtration.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration.
