Java Frontend Developer 

Location: Brussels, Belgium 
Work Model: Hybrid (1 day/week at the office) 
Contract Duration: 1 year 
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced Java Frontend Developer to join a long-term project within the banking sector. You will work in an Agile environment, contributing to the development of modern front-end applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using React.js and Vue.js. 
• Build high-quality, scalable solutions following front-end best practices. 
• Create unit test cases and apply Test-Driven Development (TDD). 
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards. 
• Work with Azure for deployment, repositories, and code reviews. 
• Support CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end testing using Playwright. 
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and customer-facing teams. 

Jouw profiel

Required Skills 

• Strong experience with React.js and Vue.js. 
• Hands-on experience with Azure (deployment, repositories, and code reviews). 
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines. 
• Good knowledge of ES6, Git, unit testing, and TDD. 
• Experience with Playwright for automation testing. 
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies. 
• Banking domain experience. 
• Customer-facing experience. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent written and spoken English. 

Soft Skills 

• Strong team player with the ability to work independently. 
• Excellent project and time management skills. 
• Analytical mindset with the ability to summarize and communicate key findings effectively.
