Our client is accelerating its digital transformation journey to enhance customer experience, modernize its technology landscape, and enable scalable growth across international operations.

Reporting directly to the CIO, they are seeking an Enterprise AI & Technology Architect to act as the organization's senior technical authority, defining and governing the technological foundations that enable and support its long-term business objectives.

You will design andoperationalize a future-ready technology ecosystem, establish architectural principles and governance standards, and help define how AI, automation, cloud services, and modern engineering practices are adopted across the organization.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on architectural leadership and requires the ability to balance innovation, operational excellence, and business value.You will:

• Define and maintain a technology architecture that remains flexible, scalable, and vendor-agnostic
• Partner with data and business stakeholders to establish AI-ready foundations
• Promote API-first and event-driven architectural principles
• Define standards and best practices for AI agents, copilots, retrieval-based systems, intelligent automation, and related technologies
• Guide strategic technology decisions across cloud platforms, integration technologies, digital applications, data services, and AI ecosystems
• Evaluate emerging technologies, development frameworks, composable architectures, and application modernization approaches
• Establish guidelines for AI-assisted software development and application generation
• Drive standards around security, testing, observability, operational excellence, and production readiness
• Lead architecture governance and technology review processes
• Build communities of practice and foster cross-functional collaboration
• Continuously measure, evaluate, and improve the frameworks and standards you define

Jouw profiel

You likely started your career in software engineering, development, or technical leadership before evolving toward architecture and enterprise technology roles.

You bring:

• Proven experience designing and implementing complex enterprise technology ecosystems
• Strong understanding of software engineering, cloud platforms, integration patterns, and enterprise architecture principles
• Experience with AI technologies, data platforms, automation, and modern application architectures
• The ability to challenge and influence technology decisions across multiple domains
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A pragmatic mindset focused on value creation rather than technology hype
• The capability to operate both strategically and hands-on when required

Most importantly, you know how to distinguish long-term enterprise capabilities from short-lived trends and can translate innovation into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
