About the Role:


We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Junior Sales Executive to join our commercial team, representing our airlines across the Benelux region.
You will be the commercial representative, responsible for developing and strengthening its cargo business throughout Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
This is primarily an outside sales role, requiring regular customer visits across the Benelux region. You will build long-term relationships with freight forwarders, identify new business opportunities, and implement commercial strategies to increase cargo volumes, revenue, and market share.

Key Responsibilities:


- Represent the airlines cargo products and services throughout the Benelux region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, logistics companies, cargo agents, and other key cargo customers.
- Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits to strengthen existing partnerships and generate new business.
- Identify new sales opportunities and grow the airline's cargo market share within the region.
- Promote the airline's network, products, schedules, and service offerings.
- Achieve agreed revenue, tonnage, and yield targets.
- Execute commercial initiatives to drive sustainable growth.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, pricing developments, and customer requirements.
- Provide regular market intelligence and customer feedback to both the airline and internal management.
- Prepare customer visit reports and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, Revenue Management, and the airlines to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Support marketing activities, customer events, trade exhibitions, and industry networking opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with airline policies, commercial guidelines, and GSSA standards.

Jouw profiel

- 1-3 years of experience in sales, account management, logistics, freight forwarding, air cargo, or a
related commercial environment.
- A genuine interest in the air cargo and logistics industry.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable working independently while managing a regional sales territory.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Good analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
- Fluent in English.
- Dutch is required; French is highly desirable. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Benelux region.
- Eligibility to work within the European Union.
