For one of our clients, which is NOT active in the insurance sector, we are looking for a Junior Insurance Officer.

The company is based next to a metro station in Brussels, early reachable by public transport.

You will join a very modern and international environment.

Beschrijving van de functie

This Insurance Officer mission is open for a junior freelancer, or an employee starting by a fixed term contract, with a possibility of permanent contract after a few months.

You will be responsible, among others, of :

• Claims Management: Registration of new claims, defining whether a claim should be reported, adding in the CRM, monitoring claims with project managers, experts, and brokers.
• Administration of Insurance Policies: Reviewing newly issued policies, checking whether project policies need to be extended, verifying related endorsements, and ensuring overall policy compliance.
• CRM Monitoring and New Project Analysis: Reviewing newly entered projects, verifying project durations, monitoring project completion, enabling transition when there is a maintenance period, and ensuring data accuracy.
• Workers' Compensation Insurance Management: Harmonizing workers' compensation insurance across all entities, reviewing annual audits and statistics, liaising with entities and the broker regarding coverage, coordinating insurance aspects of entity mergers, and related activities.
• Invoicing Follow-up: Verifying the accuracy of invoices issued by the broker, monitoring reminders, and follow-up actions for outstanding invoices.
• Preparation and Management of Liability Policies: Requesting technical information from entities both at project inception and after project completion/acceptance, and regularizing project policies following project handover.

Jouw profiel

This Insurance Officer mission is open for a junior freelancer, or an employee starting by a fixed term contract, with a possibility of permanent contract after a few months.

• You have at least two years of experience in the insurance industry.
• You are proficient in Dutch, French, and English.
• You are curious and proactive.
• You enjoy working as part of a team.
• You are available immediately or at the latest in September.
