About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior React Developer to join an established development team working on a large-scale enterprise application. This is a long-term freelance opportunity for professionals who enjoy building robust frontend solutions while collaborating closely with backend engineers in a mature, monolithic technology environment.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Has strong, hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Has experience working within monolithic application architectures and understands the challenges and advantages of enterprise environments.
• Enjoys collaborating closely with Java backend developers to deliver high-quality end-to-end solutions.
• Is capable of working independently, taking ownership of tasks from analysis through delivery.
• Communicates fluently in English (written and spoken). English is the only working language for this role.

Working Model

• Location: Brussels, Belgium
• Onsite Requirement: 50% onsite presence is mandatory. Candidates must be comfortable working from the client's offices on a regular basis.
• Contract Type: Freelance

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain complex React-based frontend applications.
• Work closely with Java backend developers to design and implement new features.
• Contribute to technical discussions and solution design.
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
