A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US To proactively ensure success for the future, IKEA Belgium is looking for Trainee Managers for various departments and units. In your position of Trainee Manager, you will participate in a nationally driven Trainee Program. This program has been put together to prepare you for a position of Department Manager within a period of 1 to 1.5 years.Depending on your preference by store/unit and department, the position you can be employed in will be considered nationally. Great flexibility naturally increases the possibilities of finding a suitable position. The program consists of the following aspects: - Introduction to the different departments of the IKEA store - Nationally organised management and leadership training - Learning moments with Trainee Managers from the different branches and from different departments - An individual development plan - A challenging project linked to the department where you will be employed - Defined evaluation moments to support you in your development This will give you the opportunity to: - Gain knowledge and insight into the different departments - Develop your management and leadership skills - Develop functional knowledge of your own department through a learning programme - Learn and grow as an individual through group learning moments, an individual development plan, coaching and follow-up
