PROCERTUS is an independent and accredited certification body that helps ensure the quality, safety and reliability of construction products in Belgium.

For more than 25 years, we have been working alongside manufacturers, laboratories and major players in the concrete, steel and construction materials sectors. Through certification, inspection and technical expertise, we help ensure that construction products comply with the applicable standards and quality requirements.

Our team consists of around 30 employees across Belgium. From our Brussels office, we work closely with the entire construction industry and contribute every day to building trust, quality and sustainability.

As a Junior Project Engineer, you will be trained step by step to become a specialist in certification and quality assessment. Your responsibilities will include: Analysing and assessing technical files. Managing and monitoring certification files. Supporting manufacturers and stakeholders with technical enquiries. Preparing technical reports. Supporting sector experts in their projects. Becoming familiar with audits and assessments. Contributing to technical specifications and certification regulations. Gradually taking on greater responsibility for your own projects. No prior experience in certification is required. Thanks to a comprehensive onboarding programme, mentoring and on-the-job training, you will have every opportunity to develop into an expert within your field.

Jouw profiel

You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Civil Engineering Architecture Industrial Sciences Civil Engineering (Engineering Sciences) Materials Science Chemistry Geology Environmental Sciences Or another technical discipline Have you recently graduated or already gained some initial professional experience? We'd love to hear from you. In addition, you: Work accurately and in a structured manner. Have an interest in technical analysis, quality and construction materials. Take initiative and enjoy learning by asking questions. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders. Are familiar with standard Microsoft Office applications. PROCERTUS operates in a bilingual environment. You are therefore fluent in Dutch or French and feel comfortable communicating in the other national language. In this way, you help build strong relationships with manufacturers, experts and colleagues throughout Belgium.
