AP/AR Accountant: International Dimension M/V/X

Belgian subsidiary of an international industrial group, this Brussels-based company manages financial flows for several European entities from its Belgian headquarters. Around a hundred employees on site, counterparts spread across a dozen countries and a finance team that works in English on a daily basis, this is an environment where the international dimension is real.

Your Responsibilities You join the accounting team and take charge of supplier and client flows in a multi-entity, multi-country environment. Processing and controlling purchase and sales invoices for several group entities. Monitoring payments, reconciling accounts and matching third-party accounts. Managing client follow-ups and coordinating with suppliers, in English and Dutch. Preparing VAT data and monitoring current regulatory obligations. Participating in monthly closings in support of the team. Regular liaison with finance teams across other countries in the group.

Jouw profiel

The Ideal Profile Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. Experience : At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable and/or general accounting. You are autonomous on day-to-day accounting tasks. Technical skills : Good command of Excel. Knowledge of SAP is an asset. Languages : Fluent Dutch and English are essential, these are the two main working languages on a daily basis. Personal qualities You are comfortable when counterparts change and no two files look the same. Methodical and precise, you can handle multiple priorities without losing track. Curious about international environments, you like to understand how things work across borders.
