Beschrijving van de functie

Our client specialising in the manufacture of very high value-added parts, located near Zaventem, is looking for an Expert Electronics Technical Engineer, in order to strengthen its current team.

Your missions will be to:

• Oversee critical assembly and testing steps on the production site
• Control the conformity of sub-assemblies and assembled products
• Quickly identify technical anomalies and their probable causes
• Support and train operators on good manufacturing practices and self-control
• Participate in the resolution of quality incidents observed in production
• Ensure clear technical reporting between different production sites
• Propose pragmatic improvements to working methods and control procedures
• Perform advanced diagnostics of electronic boards and systems
• Perform troubleshooting and repair operations on non-compliant products
• Define repair methods and acceptance criteria
• Participate in the continuous improvement of products and testing processes
• Contribute to the reduction of recurring defects and the optimization of equipment robustness

Jouw profiel

• Degree: Industrial/civil engineer or technical orientation in electronics, electromechanics or mechatronics
• Experience: Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in an electronic industrial environment

Hard Skills:

o Reading of electronic diagrams, instrumentation and measurements

o Connectors and wiring, soldering and micro-soldering

o Testing and validation, fault analysis, repair

Desired soft skills:

o Hands-on and solution-oriented approach

o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

o Methodical and structured mind

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

• Languages and minimum level: English C1-C2, French, knowledge of Dutch is an asset
